Off-Grid Africa commissions solar project, advancing independent energy supply
We’re happy to share the completion of a sustainable photovoltaic project at Sika Senegal, carried out by Off-Grid Africa, Senegal, with special thanks to our partner Bluefin Solar Energy.
The project features 110 solar panels across both parking lots, delivering a total output of 64 kWp. This initiative will significantly reduce daily energy consumption by up to 51% and cut CO2 emissions by approximately 100 tonnes annually; a major milestone in Sika’s journey towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
The installation was completed on schedule on 16/07/2025 and is now fully operational, injecting clean renewable energy into the grid!
Here's what our client, Moussa Diouf, Operations Manager at Sika Senegal, shared about their experience:
"We are extremely satisfied with the results and the professionalism of Off-Grid Africa. This project is a testament to our shared commitment to sustainability and a greener future."
A heartfelt thank you to all stakeholders and especially to the Off-Grid Africa team for your dedication and collaboration throughout this journey.
